Job Description

Job Summary:

The driver processor is responsible for assisting in on-boarding new drivers and Owner Operators. More specifically this role will be verification of employment. High degree of organization is required, as is the ability to work on multiple driver files simultaneously. Strong computer skills & professionalism are key elements, as is effective verbal & written communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with drivers to set up pre-onboarding processes such as physical and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Assist the verification of employment group in verifying the previous employment of prospective new-hires
  • Reach out to drivers, previous employers, and clinics via phone and email to resolve issues and complete driver files
  • Manage multiple driver verifications at the same time, meeting weekly deadlines
  • Support the processing team in completing driver files (auditing, hired-30 day files, etc)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to manage high volume of communication with drivers, employers, clinics, etc.
  • Review Background Reports
  • Understand and apply FMCSA SMS Information
  • Complete driver files according to DOT & company minimums
  • Scan and Index
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • duties as assigned (Auditing files, Processing, etc)

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience required.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
